Expansion abroad
In 2023 the company focused on strengthening its presence abroad. The expansion was achieved both by expanding its cooperation with some of its suppliers and in the market of Cyprus and Malta (Cisco, UNIFY, HPE, DAHUA, Samsung, EcoFlow) and by strengthening its two subsidiaries.
Provided the outstanding performance in the Greek market and the added value given to the cooperation, in 2022 Xiaomi assigned Info Quest Technologies to officially distribute its products in Romania. 2023 was the first year of operation of the 100% subsidiary Info Quest Technologies Romania. The company managed to enter the market and partner with the most important organisations and operators. As a result, it managed to increase the market shares of Xiaomi products in the main Retail categories, close a positive financial year (> 32M €) and lay the foundations for significant growth in the coming years.
An important development for the 100% subsidiary Info Quest Technologies Cyprus was the undertaking within the year of the distribution of Dell products for the Cypriot market, which was accompanied by the creation of a local warehouse and Service, creating very positive prospects for the future. The very good course of Xiaomi Store in Cyprus continued during the year.
A Business Development Platform
The company has been also evolved into a platform that coordinates and supports the development of a business ecosystem, aiming to serve the market with cutting-edge technological products and services. The ecosystem is shaped by the 100% subsidiary companies Team Candi, specializing in developing solutions and applications in the Microsoft environment, Info Quest Technologies Cyprus, operating in the Cypriot market, and Info Quest Technologies Romania, operating in the Romanian market (commercial operations started in the first half of 2023), as well as the Quest Group companies, Clima Quest (exclusive representative of GREE cooling and heating products), G.E. Dimitriou (exclusive representative of Toyotomi air conditioners, Singer, Brandt, Faber electrical appliances, etc.), FoQus (exclusive representative of POCO smartphones), and EPAFOS SA (ICT solutions and services in the education sector), are also part of the ecosystem.
New, Advanced Logistics Center
In 2022, our new state-of-the-art logistics center was put into operation in Aspropyrgos, Attica (Hemeros Topos area), marking a significant investment of €5 million in equipment and automation. A project for the reconstruction of new storage areas in an adjacent space, which the company intends to use as soon as they are completed, in order to serve its increased needs, is under development.
